Energy Medicine Toothache Meridians

Dental chart of meridian corresponding to each tooth

It began last Sunday evening. As I sat watching T.V., I developed a toothache out of nowhere. It was the last tooth on the lower left side. The gum around it also swelled up quite a bit. The swelling was noticeable on my face from the outside. And the pain. Urrgh.

I did some tapping directly addressing the pain and it came down from its original intensity of 7 to about a 6, but did not go away completely. The swelling didn’t budge.

I could not sleep that night. Turning on my left side put pressure on the tooth and it pained. Turning on the right didn’t help either. It was not a terrible pain, but it was intense enough to keep me awake.

I am no longer afraid of dentists, thanks to tapping, but I don’t look forward to visiting one. A toothache is such a nuisance.

The next day, a Monday, was spent hoping that the swelling would go down on its own (yeah, I’m very optimistic that way). But nothing happened until evening. It had been 24 hours since the toothache began.

Then I remembered seeing a dental chart in Donna Eden’s book, Energy Medicine: Balancing Your Body’s Energies for Optimal Health, Joy, and Vitality.

I flipped open the book and figured that each tooth is identified by the meridian that governs it. In my case, seeing from the dental chart, it was the Kidney meridian. In the book Donna says that sedating the corresponding meridian will not only relieve pain but also initiate a healing process.

To my surprise, one of the sedating points mentioned was the inner nail bed on the big toe. I recalled that Sunday morning I had experienced a sharp but tolerable pain in my right big toe, near the inner nail bed. Could it be that the energy disruption that began in the toe continued to brew and by evening made itself known in the tooth area?

Energy Medicine Meridian Sedating Points

Energy Medicine Kidney meridian sedating points

I sedated the Kidney meridian according to the instructions given in the book. Sedating a meridian involves holding specified points for about 2-3 minutes. The points you hold to free energies that are overcharged or blocked are called sedating points.

There were two sets of points to sedate for Kidney meridian. I held the sedating points for about 5 minutes each. I noticed that as I sat holding these points, I yawned quite a bit which to me meant that I was releasing blocked or excess energy.

The swelling started to go down even as I was holding the points. By the end of 10 minutes, the swelling had gone down considerably. And the pain had reduced to a faint sensation.

I slept well that night. The swelling continued to go down the next day. In the evening (Tuesday by now), I sedated the Kidney meridian points once again and that was all that was needed.

It is amazing that something that looks so mechanical can bring such relief. Even if you don’t see energy you can still use Energy Medicine.

A toothache is generally seen as a one-way ticket to a tooth-pulling session at the dentist’s. But as Donna Eden says, “Teeth can be healed.”

It is Wednesday today and there is no sign of toothache or gum swelling. Thank you Donna, I love you.

I sincerely recommend that you check out Donna Eden’s book Energy Medicine: Balancing Your Body’s Energies for Optimal Health, Joy, and Vitality. It will teach you all kinds of cool techniques to bring your body to a state of health.

Previously I had shared my story of how Donna Eden’s energy exercises brought me back from the brink.

    Wow, that’s some solution!

I have been through four or five toothaches, each one worse than the last, and I suffered through them, with over-the-counter pain killing drugs, like Nurofen caplets, and by the last toothache I figured out a natural pain killer, nothing more than garlic! Minced garlic in a bucket from the Cash and Carry store. it’s been a few years since I felt any more pain.

But it left me with severe short sleep, no more than 7 hours, and less than 6 hours, that’s about it.

The first couple of dentists I went to was so stupid, I refused to go back ever again.

Now I’m glad there is ETF for the teeth and gums, I’m glad. Too bad I can’t buy the book, I can’t use my paypal for the amazon. I’ll have to wait elsewhere.

    Good article!

I’m having a toothache right now and want to try the sedation. I have Donna Eden’s book, but I have to admit I never read through it. It’s a big book! So I have a question for ya. Did you only do it on one foot or both feet? My tooth corresponds to “small intestine”, and I’m not sure if I have to do a certain leg/arm (right or left?), or both? Thank you for this article! I did not know a toothache can be tamed with energy medicine. I’ve had to have 2 teeth pulled recently. :( Wish I knew about this before I got them pulled!

Sorry to hear about your toothache Reva. I feel for you. I don’t remember if I did it on both feet, but I’d do both feet just to be sure. If it has come to teeth pulling, then Donna’s technique is worth a try at least once. There’s no guarantee, but if it works, it could save you a lot of pain and trouble. Love, Sonal

Hi reva, I also use Donna edens chart for toothache. Every tooth responds to DIFFERENT sedating points and there’s 2 steps to the treatment. Thereforetje points in this in this article don’t apply to your tooth And it’s best to consult the book itself. :)
