Module 5: Taking Power Back

Round 1

Eyebrow point I don’t have to act “cool”.

Side of the eye I don’t have to pretend to know it all.

Under the eye I don’t have to hide my nerves.

Under the nose I just have to be me.

Chin I’m getting better at being me.

Collarbone I am willing to take things in my stride.

Under the arm The best job, the best co-workers will find me.

Top of the head If this is the best place for me, I’ll stay.

Round 2

Eyebrow point If it isn’t, I choose to do the best I can till I can.

Side of the eye And prepare to attract what is best for me at this time.

Under the eye My workplace is not responsible for my happiness. I am.

Under the nose My colleagues are not accountable for my victories. I am.

Chin I choose to be treated with kindness and respect.

Collarbone If there is anything that bothers me,

Under the arm I choose to clear the air instead of steaming inside.

Top of the head I choose a healthier way of working.

Round 3

Eyebrow point I choose to have a vibrant work day, day after day.

Side of the eye I choose to look past my co-worker’s quirks and be the best I can be.

Under the eye I choose to remember my purpose in being here.

Under the nose I choose to relax around this anxiety.

Chin It is just trying to keep me safe.

Collarbone I learned it along the way.

Under the arm Maybe as a child I needed it.

Top of the head In order to constantly remind myself to be a good child.

Round 4

Eyebrow point To keep myself on the right track.

Side of the eye But as a grown up, I don’t need it to guide me anymore.

Under the eye I choose to be driven by aspiration and a sense of purpose.

Under the nose I can calm down now. I can slow down now. It is safe.

Chin They are just people. They are just like me.

Collarbone Work is just stuff. I can handle it.

Under the arm As I choose a kinder attitude toward myself,

Top of the head I see others coming round to that idea rapidly.

Round 5

Eyebrow point Maybe I will learn to like my workplace the way it is.

Side of the eye Even if I don’t, I choose to love and accept myself just the way I am.

Under the eye I choose to be open to new ideas.

Under the nose I choose to allow myself to express my ideas.

Chin I choose to use my nervous energy to propel me forward.

Collarbone I choose to feel calm, confident and secure.

Under the arm I’m competent. I’m confident. I’m calm and comfortable.

Top of the head And so it is.
